THE PEAK DISTRICT KIDS AWARDS 2026

PDK Local Awards 2026

The Peak District Kids Awards 2026 mark the first-ever celebration of local businesses and individuals who go the extra mile to make the Peak District an incredible place for families. From outdoor adventures and welcoming cafés to eco-friendly stays and inspiring young people, these awards recognise the people and places that make family adventures in the Peak District truly special.

Who can be nominated?

The Peak District Kids Awards 2026 are a public vote, and there are no fees for businesses to take part.

To be eligible, businesses and individuals must be based within the Peak District National Park. Matlock, Matlock Bath, and Buxton are also included in the eligible area. Chesterfield, Leek, Macclesfield, and Sheffield are not included.

How does voting work?

Voting is open to the public, with one vote per person per category.

Category winners will be chosen based on the highest number of verified votes, with the final say from the Peak District Kids voting panel. There are gold, silver, and bronze awards for each category.

If you’re an eligible business or individual, you’re welcome to vote for yourself and are encouraged to spread the word on your own social media channels to gain support.

Is there an awards ceremony?

While we’d love to host a big celebration, that would come at a significant cost and we’re committed to keeping these awards completely free to enter. Winners will be announced on our social media channels and via the Peak District Kids newsletter.
